Katherine MacMillan

President & Chief Executive Officer

Katherine MacMillan is President & Chief Executive Officer of International Financial Data Services. Katherine has served as both President & CEO and IFDS board member since February 2014.

Prior to joining IFDS, Katherine spent over 15 years at Manulife Financial, holding various leadership roles in Client Services, Marketing and Operations. In her last role, Katherine served as Executive Vice President & General Manager, leading international teams across Canada, the US and Philippines with full accountability for strategy and continued growth of the John Hancock Retirement Plan Services business. She was a member both the U.S. Operations Management team of John Hancock and Management Committee of Manulife Financial.

Katherine has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, developing extensive expertise in transformational change, driving efficiencies, brand positioning and operations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from Queen’s University. Katherine was also honoured as one of Canada’s top leaders in the Top 40 under 40 program, a national program that uniquely celebrates the achievements of 40 Canadians in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors, who have reached a significant level of success before the age of 40. Katherine currently serves as Chair of Fundserv’s Board of Directors, is a board member of Second Harvest, and sits on the Smith School of Business Advisory Board as well as JA Central Ontario’s Board Of Governors.

Jon Bennett EVP Sales & Business Development

John Bennett

Executive Vice President, Sales & Business Development

John Bennett is Executive Vice President, Sales & Business Development, responsible for business development, new sales and building strategic relationships within the industry for IFDS.

Prior to joining IFDS, John held the position of Executive Vice President Products & Operations at AGF Trust Company, a division of AGF Management. In this role, he was accountable for all products and operations for the Trust Company and was a key member of the leadership team. His previous experience includes serving as Associate Vice President, Small Business Banking at TD Canada Trust, where he was accountable for small business products and services, from deposit accounts, cash management, loans and lines of credit to commercial mortgages and electronic access products and services.

John has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has developed knowledge and expertise in all aspects of retail banking. John holds an MBA in financial services from Dalhousie University and is also a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers.

Kate Brady, Head of IFDS Europe

Kate Brady

Head of IFDS Europe

Kate Brady holds the position of Head of IFDS Europe, responsible for the IFDS Ireland and IFDS Luxembourg businesses. In this role, Kate leads the European management team and drives the business from a strategic perspective, working with the shareholders on the execution of strategy and with clients to deliver value.

Kate is a director and Chief Executive Officer of IFDS Ireland and has previously held a number of leadership roles within the European business, including the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.

Kate has 30 years of experience in Financial Services, 20+ of which have been spent in the Funds Industry and 15+ years at IFDS across Operations and Client Services, Business Governance, Transformation, Strategy, Planning and Leadership roles.

Kate holds an honours’ degree in Financial Services from University College Dublin and is a Trustee of the State Street Ireland Pension Scheme. Kate is an active participant in local industry association(s) including past chair of the Irish Funds Transfer Agency Working Group. Kate is the executive sponsor for the employee PRIDE network and strong supporter of a variety of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity networks and associations.

Chief Administrative Officer

Joe DeSario is Chief Administrative Officer, accountable for the finance, compliance & risk management and legal groups at IFDS.

Prior to joining IFDS, Joe held the positions of Managing Director, Senior Company Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Reuters Canada, a leading information and content provider to the financial services industry. He has also held management positions at Packard Bell NEC and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Joe has over 25 years’ experience in finance and operations with over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has extensive knowledge and expertise in finance, business development, operations, and audit.

Edward Eng

Executive Vice President, Client Experience & Operations Group

Edward Eng is Executive Vice President, Client Experience & Operations Group, responsible for Relationship Management, Client Services, Business Process Operations, Dealer Relations, Product Development and Marketing and Communications.

Prior to joining IFDS, Edward held various leadership roles at Manulife Financial, RBC and Nortel. In his last role as Vice President, Product Development at Manulife, Edward was accountable for strategy & research, product development & management, project management, compliance and pricing.

Edward has over 25 years of management experience with over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has an extensive background in developing strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and finance. Edward has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario.

Dennis Gregoris, Chief Compliance Officer

Dennis Gregoris

Chief Compliance Officer

Dennis Gregoris is Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for regulatory compliance and risk management.

Prior to joining IFDS, Dennis held several positions at CIBC, including the position of Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, he managed compliance and risk management for both an investment dealer and mutual fund dealer. Dennis also has significant previous experience at TD Bank.

Dennis has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has extensive knowledge of compliance and risk management. Dennis has served on the Ontario District Council of the Investment Dealers Association of Canada and the Ontario Regional Council of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada.

Roy Kapoor Chief Information Officer

Roy Kapoor

Chief Information Officer

Roy Kapoor is the Chief Information Officer – Global IFDS Technology for SS&C and a member of the IFDS Executive Committee. He is responsible for the architecture, design, development, and support of all IT functions at IFDS.

Previously, Roy held various leadership positions, most recently with John Hancock Retirement Plan Services (JHRPS) as Head of Strategic Initiatives. Roy spent 17 years at JHRPS, where he held various positions in Product Development and Marketing, as well as Information Technology, including serving as Chief Information Officer.

Roy brings extensive experience to his role – both inside and outside the financial industry – leading large teams, projects and significant growth initiatives across multiple functions to enable broader organizational objectives. He holds a Masters in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.

Amie Khondo Head Asset Manager Solutions

Amie Khondo

Head Asset Manager Solutions

Amie Khondo leads the Asset Manager Solutions Group at IFDS. He is responsible for project delivery at IFDS including Program Management and Business Analysis, the Fund Set Up and Implementation Team, the Regulatory and Tax practice, as well as Corporate Communications and Marketing.

Prior to joining IFDS, Amie has held increasingly responsible leadership roles at Manulife Financial/ John Hancock. In his most recent role at John Hancock Retirement Plan Services, Amie was accountable for all aspects of Product Development and Marketing for the Advisor channel experience, the overall Investment Platform, and competitive intelligence.

Amie has over 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry and has extensive expertise in driving adoption of new products and services via targeted marketing programs, call campaigns and sales support. His background also includes Mergers & Acquisitions, as well as client onboarding.

Amie graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a B.Sc. Honors in Statistics and Actuarial Science; he holds a CFA and is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.

Noelle Sargeant, Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Noelle Sargeant

Executive Vice President, Human Resources

Noelle Sargeant is Executive Vice President, Human Resources, responsible for leading the development and delivery of the human capital aspects of the corporate strategy across IFDS globally. Noelle also oversees the Corporate Facilities function for IFDS Canada.

Noelle has spent her career within the Financial Services industry and has extensive experience in the design and implementation of organizational effectiveness and change programs while holding senior roles in HR, risk management, and strategic/corporate planning. Prior to joining IFDS, Noelle oversaw the global HR Relationship Management function at Russell Investments, and also held senior roles at Scotia Capital and OMERS.

Noelle holds a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University and is a graduate of the Advanced Program in Managing Strategic Change from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. Noelle sits on the Board of the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative and is an active member of the United Way.
